Mount Britton & El Yunque Peak

Caimitillo Trail

Angelito Trail

One of the most popular hikes for locals and tourists, El Angelito, is an excellent option for families and small children due to its short distance. The tree-lined trail leads to a rocky natural pool at Mameyes River, perfect for the kids.

La Coca Falls

You can’t leave El Yunque without visiting one of three plunging waterfalls and natural swimming holes. Luckily all of these hotspots are generally accessible from the main forest road perfect for visitors of every age.

La Mina Falls

One of the most popular tourist destinations on warm sunny days, a 45-minute hike* leads to the falls where you can find visitors taking a dip in the swimming hole below.

*As of Sept. 2021, the trail is closed and set to reopen in 2022.

La Coca Falls

Visible from the main road, this waterfall features parking right across the road, allowing visitors to grab a quick picture of the falling falls and rocky landscape.

Juan Diego Creek

A hotspot for rainforest tour groups, you’ll find multiple waterfalls and swimming holes to jump in and cool off after hiking the trailhead.
