We will take a journey to the center of the island and we will visit the mountain area in the town of Cayey.  For many years this town has been well known for the gastronomic tradition of roasted pork in a stick.

Let's start our visit in the Carite Forest in which we can enjoy the area for about an hour.  We will walk thru the fascinating trails along the Tabonuco and Corch trees, crossing the river several times until arriving to Charco Azul.  Finally in the Guavate area you can enjoy the delicious roasted pork from Puerto Rico.  In the area there are several kiosks were you can buy not only local food but also souvenirs from our island Puerto Rico.
